Mineral Resources Division

Mineral Resources Division
The origin of our company goes back to 1874 when the Mitsui Clan began operation of the Kamioka Mines in Gifu prefecture, Japan. Resource development technologies developed over the history of our company have helped us successfully develop numerous mines in Japan and overseas. They have also being applied to resource recycling and underground energy resource development.
While Japan debates its strategy for securing resources, we are harnessing our technologies to contribute to the efficient use of global resources.
